Monday February 18, 2018 (Miami, FL) - Miami cross-genre veterans Xperimento will participate in the Reggae Rise Up Festival at Vinoy Park in St. Petersburg, FL on March 15-17, 2019. They will share the stage with the likes of Steel Pulse, Pepper, Slightly Stoopid, Ziggy Marley, Method & Redman, Rebelution and more. Coming off an amazing year of US and International tours, the X-men are ready to bring their bright, high-energy sound to the glimmering shores of Tampa Bay.
From finding its rightful home in St. Petersburg to expanding to this year's new three-day slate, Reggae Rise Up, now in its fifth year, has evolved from an out-of-place event in the parking lot of Raymond James Stadium to becoming one the largest reggae festivals in the country.
Amidst a steady stream of residencies in and around Miami Beach at destinations like Faena and 1 Hotel, the eclectic Latin rockers were also chosen by the US Navy to play for our troops in Tokyo, Japan, Bahrain, Guam, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and Djibouti, Africa. They were featured in the highly followed acoustic music series Sugarshack Sessions in Bonita Springs, FL and were also chosen to represent the city of Miami in a worldwide campaign for the US Department of Tourism called Hear The Music which will be seen in Portugal, India, Japan and other countries.
